Is there a way to control pet stat rolls?
Hello,
I've been rerolling the same pet for a while now and I'm curious if this is supposed to be so complicated or if I'm just oblivious to some mechanic to help rolls.
I rerolled 7 times green to get health (4% base now, not rerolling for now, good enough).
I rerolled 6 times for purple to get brutal (5% now, not rerolling, happy for now)
But I rerolled well over 10 times for uniques and I get garbage rolls every single time.
Now this is all on Captain America since he was for a while my only level 60 and is still the only one I play (I now have 2 more 60s, woohoo)
Here's the last rolls I got, going from memory, but it's pretty accurate to paint a picture.
+2 int, +2 energy, +1 int, +1 str , +3 int, +1 energy, +2 int
I'm trying to roll +3 fighting which pretty much 99% of people use. Is there a way to control the roll, by for example, feeding it uniques with a +fighting roll on it? I don't understand how Capt would roll int and energy so much when it is completely useless to him. At this point unfortunately, as soon as I hit +3 fighting, I will never ever buy another pet to go through the same process again.
Is it supposed to be this ridiculous to get good rolls on a pet when there are 25+ available that you have to redo the same process every time? Are rolls influenced by the pet you have and some of them have a better chance to roll one stat or another?
Any help is appreciated.
